Position type: Hourly We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our Information Technology team. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, with an interest in desktop support, troubleshooting, and end-user technologies. This position will support daily IT operations and end-user computing needs. You will work closely with IT staff and internal stakeholders to assist with hardware deployments, helpdesk support, and departmental technology requests, while gaining hands-on experience in a corporate IT environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
  • Interest in IT support, desktop systems, and enterprise technology environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and basic networking concepts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Available to complete the full 3–6 month assignment
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated work ethic and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely results

Responsibilities

  • Assist with building, imaging, and deploying Windows-based laptops and desktop systems
  • Troubleshoot helpdesk calls related to laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and hardware connectivity
  • Provide support for Microsoft Office applications and general Windows operating system issues
  • Assist with departmental requests for local application configuration and programming
  • Document issues, resolutions, and asset information in IT systems
  • Collaborate with IT team members to improve processes and end-user support efficiency
