As an IT Cloud Infrastructure Intern at Stewart, you will have access to work on real-world projects, gain insights from mentors and leaders throughout the organization, and can participate in social and community events to enhance the experience – ultimately providing you with tools to support your transition from college to professional life. Our Summer Internship program runs June 1 – August 7, 2026 (Hybrid IN-OFFICE 2-3 days/week)

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Be pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or any AI related IT majors
  • Be able to fulfill the duties of the role in a full-time, hybrid environment for the duration of the 10-week program, located in Houston, TX
  • Need to be excited about what they're doing and talking about.
  • Outspoken, go get it attitude, willingness to ask questions and approach others
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the passion and energy to leave your mark
  • Have the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Be adept at handling a changing workload and intaking a high volume of information
  • Be results-oriented, innovative, collaborative, analytical, hands-on, inquisitive, a quick learner, proactive, and have excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
  • Be extremely organized and attentive to detail while still being able to effectively handle multi-faceted tasks
  • Be fluent in oral and written English
  • Be eligible to legally work in the country in which you are applying, without company sponsorship or time restriction

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI Skillset, Microsoft Dynamics, or Power Platform - all three preferred.
  • Experience with Python

Responsibilities

  • Daily use of Microsoft Graph and PowerShell
  • Participate in the planning, execution and build documentation for the backup and recovery processes for cloud systems
  • Consolidate & centralize documentation for Stewart’s Cloud practice to publish to the IT division; naming conventions, tagging requirements, role-based access control, commonly used technologies for enterprise re-use, required settings for a handful of technologies
  • Work with IT architects & engineers to define common requirement templates for application design blueprints and deployments
  • Work on performing reporting of cloud infrastructure to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support the development of monitoring dashboards including metrics related to operational and security aspects
  • Help identify summary operational and management reports, and schedule automated reports
  • Be assigned projects that help to deliver on customer outcomes and identify business improvements
  • Be supported by a mentor, your manager, various business leaders, and the Human Resources team, all of whom will ensure you have valuable learning experience
  • Receive coaching and direct support and feedback to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop skills in your functional area of focus
