About The Position

We are seeking an Onsite IT Client Support Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for technical support at a full office location. This role is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, direct user interaction, and being the face of IT support for onsite employees. You will support internal users both onsite and remotely, manage a high-volume ticket queue through an internal ticketing system, assist with hardware and software issues, and play a key role in new hire onboarding and ongoing technology support. This is a contract role with strong potential to convert to full-time employment .

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of IT support or related technical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1–3 years of customer service experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience supporting desktop, laptop, and printer issues
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including occasional weekends and overtime

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience
  • Experience with VPN troubleshooting
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience supporting hardware builds, laptop assembly, and system imaging
  • IT certifications or relevant education, preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the onsite IT support presence, providing professional and customer-focused technical assistance
  • Identify, manage, escalate, and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking
  • Install, configure, and support software, printer drivers, and utilities on workstations and laptops
  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and basic network connectivity issues
  • Issue laptops, replace hardware, perform system updates, and support onboarding for new hires
  • Maintain and support onsite printers and related peripherals
  • Manage and resolve IT tickets through an internal ticketing and chat-based support system
  • Support users both in person and remotely, with daily ticket volumes ranging from low to high depending on business needs
  • Monitor systems, identify issues, and take corrective action as needed
  • Represent the IT team professionally, remaining approachable, calm, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
