About The Position

We are looking for a results-oriented Data/Business Analyst to join us to use their knowledge of data processing software and business development strategies to provide sound business decisions to company Executives. Duties include collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating reports based on their findings, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives’ success our preferred candidates will have a proven track record of working within a team environment to successfully address technical issues as well as great analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated success with respect to problem solving and solution implementation. high initiative, attention to detail and experience in a service driven, dynamic environment is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to jump into tech support in an environment with fantastic on-the-job learning, mentorship, and great growth opportunity, but any industry certifications are an asset. Our IT Data/Business Analyst is responsible for Overseeing and/or participating in IT and operations performance process improvement initiatives. Serve as an internal consultant to executive teams, providing expertise on performance improvement projects and initiatives. Uses Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and/or equivalent principles, methodologies, and tools to achieve project goals and outcomes that help Nephron make the right decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mid-level IT management to help ensure IT services meet the agreed performance outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support Development of the IT business strategy, help define the technology direction and the digital strategy, assess ROI and risks for new projects
  • Support Lean manufacturing strategies through green-belt and Black belt 6 sigma tools and processes
  • Support project directives for our ever-growing IT and manufacturing environments
  • Work with business executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and business optimization
  • Present, facilitate and lead process improvement events using methods of culture-appropriate team building, team energizing, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, project management and presentation skills
  • Seek and evaluate process improvement information, materials, and methods to match specific organizational needs as outlined by management and adapts teams to use in the execution process improvement events while maintaining compliance
  • Collaborate with management and operations teams to prioritize, select and help resource projects critical to achieving business goals, operating KPI targets, bottom-line benefits
  • Guide project leaders and teams through application of lean six sigma tools and techniques (DMAIC, PDCA, root cause analysis, risk assessment/FMEA, kaizen, design for six sigma, mistake proofing); coach and mentor green belt and yellow belt candidates and participates in daily problem-solving activities with focus on knowledge transfer
  • Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry
  • Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
  • Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
  • Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
