Under the direction of the Manager, IT Business Services, the IT Business Services Analyst II primary responsibility is to provide operational, product and technology support for the assigned business units and systems. Strives to maximize the efficiency of the Enterprise through the application of technology by partnering with assigned business units. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Leads and directs projects for assigned business units, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration and interaction with business sponsors. 2. Maintains an understanding of system capabilities and their application to the specific needs of our business. 3. Remains current with system enhancements and new products and how they apply to our business. 4. Maintains agreed service level agreements with the business and vendors. 5. Recommends changes to products and processes to improve the manner in which we conduct business. 6. Develops and administers application training programs. 7. Creates and fosters collaborative relationships within the IT team to ensure a one team mentality on how we deliver services to our Enterprise. 8. Provides technical support to evaluate problems and provide technical solutions. 9. Maintains a working knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications, including emerging technologies. 10. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
