This IT Business Analyst role is a mid to senior level professional position responsible for aligning business needs with technology solutions. The role involves analyzing, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional specifications to ensure IT Systems support organizational goals. This position gathers and prioritizes requirements, translating business needs for technical teams, facilitating communication, and ensuring compliance with VUMC's and regulatory standards. This role supports clinical, administrative, operational, IT development infrastructure, and data analytic teams. VUMC IT provides hardware, software, and service solutions for the entire Medical Center, assisting with hardware support, software, and application support and services to enhance security and protection of information across over 40,000 workstations. The professional administrative functions include critical supporting roles in information technology and informatics, finance, administration, legal and community affairs, human resources, communications and marketing, development, facilities, and many more.
