About The Position

The IT Business Analyst – eCommerce plays a key role in supporting the strategy, delivery, and continuous enhancement of Stellantis’ digital commerce platforms. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to ensure that eCommerce requirements are captured accurately, translated into actionable specifications, and implemented successfully. Responsibilities include business requirements analysis, platform enhancement support, data and systems coordination, and cross‑functional collaboration to improve customer experience, conversion, and operational workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT business analysis, preferably supporting eCommerce or digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and related systems (e.g., ADOBE eCommerce, search tools like Algolia, payment gateways, order management, etc).
  • Experience writing functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
  • Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for eCommerce initiatives including new features, enhancements, promotions, and platform updates.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and data requirements for IT partners.
  • Define business rules related to pricing, catalog content, product setup, checkout logic, and customer journeys.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to identify capability gaps and innovation opportunities (modeled after eCommerce product analysis responsibilities).
  • Support content setup, product configuration, promotions, and customer experience improvements across digital retail channels.
  • Coordinate readiness for new eCommerce features, systems integrations, and platform releases.
  • Validate customer experience flows, ensuring alignment with UX/UI expectations and accessibility guidelines.
  • Partner closely with design, development, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure cohesive digital commerce delivery.
  • Support management of product data, images, descriptions, translations, and metadata needed for eCommerce.
  • Document system workflows, integrations, and API‑related requirements supporting eCommerce functions such as checkout, payments, order status, and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with business and IT vendor teams to validate data flows, test functionality, and ensure system quality.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate business logic, usability, and end‑to‑end functionality.
  • Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain stakeholders to align requirements and priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and technical clarifications between business teams and IT delivery groups.
  • Provide regular updates to business owners regarding project status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements across eCommerce systems and workflows.
  • Use analytics and customer behavior insights to drive data‑informed enhancements (based on practices highlighted in internal digital initiatives).
  • Support adoption of emerging technologies and AI‑based improvements for eCommerce experiences and operations.
