TOPS is headquartered in Naperville, IL with employees and locations across North America. Work Environment: This will be a hybrid role, currently working 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Join our team as an IT Business Analyst and help shape the future of our North American manufacturing and distribution operations. The role focuses on helping drive business efficiencies across our North American manufacturing and distribution environment. Major functions include performing data analysis to improve productivity, defining efficient work procedures, and working closely with the manufacturing and distribution personnel to improve business processes within and across our IT systems. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, or related fields
  • Strong communication skills — you can simplify the complex and present information clearly.
  • A love for data, analysis, and creative problem‑solving.
  • An organized, proactive approach with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to experience firsthand how our systems power real operations.

Responsibilities

  • Turn data into action. Use AI, Excel, and automated analytics tools to uncover opportunities that boost productivity and streamline operations.
  • Become a tech champion. Train teams across our facilities to enhance the use of our new systems — especially Microsoft Dynamics — and help them adopt smarter, more efficient ways of working.
  • Shape the tools of tomorrow. Design and execute test plans, validate IT solutions, and ensure new technologies perform flawlessly in real-world environments.
  • Lead with curiosity. Partner with business stakeholders to map processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive optimization strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Communicate with influence. Lead meetings, present solutions, and partner with colleagues at all levels to turn insights into action.
  • Bring ideas to life. Support solution design, evaluate system performance, and contribute to project planning across business teams.
  • Create helpful resources. Build user guides, FAQs, and documentation that empower teams to use systems confidently.
