About The Position

The company has a portfolio of trusted brands and a strong presence across retail and e-commerce channels. TOPS is headquartered in Naperville, IL with employees and locations across North America. This IT Business Analyst role is a hybrid position, currently requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The role focuses on driving business efficiencies across North American manufacturing and distribution operations by performing data analysis, defining efficient work procedures, and improving business processes within and across IT systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving problems, working with data, enjoys multi-tasking, and making a real impact with both individual and team projects.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, or related fields
Strong communication skills — you can simplify the complex and present information clearly.
A love for data, analysis, and creative problem‑solving.
An organized, proactive approach with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Willingness to travel up to 25% across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to experience firsthand how our systems power real operations.

Responsibilities

Turn data into action. Use AI, Excel, and automated analytics tools to uncover opportunities that boost productivity and streamline operations.
Become a tech champion. Train teams across our facilities to enhance the use of our new systems — especially Microsoft Dynamics — and help them adopt smarter, more efficient ways of working.
Shape the tools of tomorrow. Design and execute test plans, validate IT solutions, and ensure new technologies perform flawlessly in real-world environments.
Lead with curiosity. Partner with business stakeholders to map processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive optimization strategies that deliver measurable results.
Communicate with influence. Lead meetings, present solutions, and partner with colleagues at all levels to turn insights into action.
Bring ideas to life. Support solution design, evaluate system performance, and contribute to project planning across business teams.
Create helpful resources. Build user guides, FAQs, and documentation that empower teams to use systems confidently.
