IT Audit Manager We are currently seeking an IT Audit Manager interested in starting a rewarding career supporting our Federal client’s mission. What will you do in this role: Leading IT/FISCAM and FISMA Audit engagements by completing assigned engagement tasks within the project scope and budget, while meeting deliverable requirements Leading client meetings (to include Executive-level briefings) and coordination/oversight with action items Evaluating IT General Controls (ITGCs) using NIST standards and frameworks – to include NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) Leading and coaching Staff and Senior level team members Leading IT and cybersecurity audits in accordance with Government standards (Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)) Analyzing data and creating outputs that summarize client’s IT and cybersecurity posture Serving Federal Government clients, Castro & Company is a dedicated Audit, Advisory and Information Technology firm headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field
  • Must have a minimum 5 Years experience with related work (at least 2 years performing IT testing in support of a financial statement audit and/or FISMA Audit)
  • Must have CISA and/or CISSP Certification
  • Must have experience leading IT audits to include leading walkthroughs and documenting IT audit work papers, and audit deliverables
  • Must have experience and strong desire coaching and developing Staff and Senior level team members.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to details
  • Must be able to multi-task various tasks with various deadlines
  • Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship required)

Nice To Haves

  • Must have FISMA audit and/or IT audit experience in support of a Financial Statement Audit to include workpaper review of Staff and Senior level team members preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and strong experience with Microsoft PowerApps is preferred
