About The Position

The Center of Life IT Associate is responsible for the smooth operation of staff's technology needs. The IT Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that IT infrastructure operates smoothly to support the mission of COL. The IT Associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations, maintaining hardware and software systems, providing technical support to staff, and contributing to IT projects as needed. Administrative Ma intain and manage inventory of Center of Life devices and equipment , including laptops, iPads, screens, Wi-Fi equipment, printers, cameras, and tech accessories Address technological issues that come up for staff on a day-to-day basis Support new hires in setting up Microsoft accounts and emails, and ensure devices are equipped with all necessary applications With support from Director of Operations, maintain and manage SharePoint usage and access across the organization Coordinate repairs and replacements for technology/devices Conduct regular checkups to ensure staff have updated and equipped devices System Improvements Support any special IT projects such as migrations or updates Provide support in Website Development and updates as directed by the Marketing & Communications Department Assist in evaluating and recommending new technologies or solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness Research and implement security measures to protect the integrity of data and systems from unauthorized access Meet with program managers and coordinators every October to identify equipment needs/upcoming purchases and build an accurate equipment budget for the following year Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues or procure IT equipment and services as needed Leadership Support tech set up for all new hires, as well as any device return for staff leaving COL Create and maintain user guides for systems in use by staff Communicate regularly with staff regarding any important IT-related updates Provide training and support for use of iSolved system to staff and supervisors General Center of Life Expectations: Maintain regular/programming office hours Participate as an active member of Center of Life staff Adhere to all Center of Life's policies and procedures Attend all COL staff meetings, retreats, and mandatory events Meet bi-weekly with Immediate Supervisor Adhere to the security, accuracy and operability of the daily communication and program reporting needs of COL. Contribute to the development of a supportive and collaborative work environment.
