The Role The IT Asset Manager manages the lifecycle of IT assets across the organization, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing asset utilization, and supporting cost-effective procurement strategies. You will develop and implement asset management policies, maintain accurate inventory records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on IT Asset Management experience.
• 6–8+ years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure.
• Proficiency with SNOW/Flexera IT asset management platforms and ServiceNow CMDB architecture and processes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure for licensing, entitlements, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain asset lifecycle standards, policies, and controls.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets globally.
• Ensure compliance with standards, metrics, and licensing requirements through reporting and monitoring.
• Maintain accurate inventory in Xylem’s IT Asset Management systems and ensure data integrity.
• Oversee software licensing to avoid oversubscription and reduce underutilization.
• Conduct regular audits, analyze results, remediate findings, and report outcomes.
