As an Asset Management Coordinator, you will maintain, support, and manage hardware technology within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all Rural King PC hardware and peripherals to ensure optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required. Responsible for tagging and maintaining accurate records of the IT equipment inventory database, software licenses, security access, and data security for associates and locations company-wide Manage assets by date it went into service, current software/bios, warranty information, capital expense information, and location of asset Update inventory database based on information provided in work-order tickets, spreadsheets, and emails, including managing the assets for the new hire and termination process Serve as the primary contact for issues related to IT inventory Provide assistance to associates during allocation, replacement, and repair of equipment Manage the inventory by reviewing current stock levels, deploying and charging assets to locations, and maintaining a minimum quantity on hand Work with IT to procure required office equipment and manage asset inventory May be required to cross train and perform other duties
