About The Position

The IT Asset Coordinator supports the day-to-day management of client and company-issued devices throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, tracking, deployment, and retirement. Working closely with IT and cross-functional teams, the IT Asset Coordinator handles device setup, security requirements, and compliance processes to ensure consistency across all devices. By maintaining organized records and supporting established policies and procedures, this role contributes to an efficient and well-managed asset environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining visibility across a large volume of devices, supporting inventory accuracy, logistics coordination, and reporting efforts to enable smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in asset management, logistics, operations, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of device lifecycle management, asset governance, and inventory control practices
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM) is required, as it is used to track and manage Apple devices
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) or similar asset tracking systems
  • Strong vendor management experience, particularly in high-volume device environments involving thousands of devices
  • Ability to analyze operational data and produce clear executive-level reporting and insights
  • Experience designing or supporting automated workflows and webforms in partnership with IT
  • Understanding of Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) processes

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end asset lifecycle, including strategy development, lifecycle standards, policy adherence, and audit controls
  • Manage inventory levels, device forecasting, and asset operations
  • Oversee logistics functions including device intake, tagging, IMEI tracking, shipping/receiving, and SLA performance
  • Produce executive-level reporting on asset utilization, loss rates, lifecycle performance, and cost per agent
  • Maintain accurate device records in Salesforce (SFDC) and other asset tracking systems
  • Manage relationships with repair vendors and warranty providers, including coordination with repair shops as the organization evaluates self-insuring devices
  • Provide oversight of Mobile Device Management (MDM) processes and coordinate with IT on provisioning, configuration, security enforcement, and remote lock/wipe actions
  • Ensure consistent, efficient, and compliant device management processes across all client- and company-issued hardware
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support team and organizational priorities
