INNIO is seeking an IT Application Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our CAD and PLM ecosystem, primarily focused on PTC Windchill and PTC Creo Parametric. In this role, you'll work closely with engineering and IT stakeholders to streamline processes, drive system improvements, and ensure the stability and usability of core engineering applications. You’ll help shape our long-term application strategy while supporting day-to-day operational needs across the engineering community.

  • Plan and coordinate platform releases to ensure smooth deployments with minimal disruption.
  • Lead the design and execution of upgrades for Windchill PLM and the Creo CAD environment.
  • Partner with engineering and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Evaluate engineering tools and contribute to overall IT architecture direction.
  • Manage the IT issue backlog, working with internal teams and external vendors to drive resolutions.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting to measure platform performance and success.
  • Provide guidance and support to engineers, IT team members, and third-party partners regarding CAD/PLM processes and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill (including modules such as PDMLink, PTC Navigate, RV&S).
  • Experience with PTC Creo Parametric.
  • Strong background in administering and supporting CAD and PLM environments.
  • Understanding of CAD/PLM methodologies, BOM management, and engineering change processes.
  • Experience with data migration or data classification is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP, SQL, and relational databases is a plus.
  • Experience with other CAD or PDM/PLM tools is beneficial.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Leadership skills with experience driving projects or programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to document, plan, and execute projects effectively.
  • Lean, Agile, PMP, or ITIL certifications are a plus.
