About The Position

The IT Applications Administrator will support business programs by managing and optimizing external vendor applications and systems. This role is responsible for the operational administration configuration and support of assigned applications to ensure they meet business needs and performance standards. This position will also oversee vendor relationships ensuring they meet quality cost and service standards.

Requirements

  • Strong technical and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven experience in tool installation configuration and ongoing maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to tools and integrations.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and resolving conflicts diplomatically.
  • Knowledge of vendor management best practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication presentation and organizational skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Technology or a related field; or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT tools administration application support or a similar technical role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Intercom is a plus.
  • Experience in vendor/supplier relationship management and performance analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and roadmap for assigned vendor applications to align with evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with business teams to enhance the technical capabilities of assigned applications.
  • Develop configure and test new features within assigned applications including adding fields creating custom actions building integrations implementing workflow automation etc.
  • Provide support and resolve technical issues for assigned applications by coordinating with internal and external partners.
  • Analyze usage metrics and user feedback to prioritize improvements and optimize application performance.
  • Manage the vendor contractual relationship for assigned applications including coordinating contract renewals and facilitating vendor escalations as needed.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with contracts and established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Offer insights and recommendations to stakeholders on vendor performance and relationship management.
