About The Position

Footprint Project is seeking a IT & Jr. Salesforce Administrator Specialist to join our small, growing team! This position will own the technical experience, streamline workflows and be a part of creating integral, reliable, and efficient systems. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in IT/similar role OR Associates degree+ in computer science/similar field OR relevant certifications
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues across operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and various hardware peripherals.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users in clear, empathetic language.
  • Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, such as identity management, phishing detection, and zero-trust concepts.
  • Drive and willingness to learn new tools quickly as technology shifts.
  • Evidence of a methodical approach to identifying and resolving root causes rather than just treating symptoms.
  • High responsiveness and a professional demeanor when handling internal support tickets.

Nice To Haves

  • Higher education degree - Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s
  • 1 year of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) is highly preferred or required within the first six months.
  • Interested in sustainability, the environment, and/or humanitarian relief.

Responsibilities

  • Desktop & Device Support: Provide day-to-day technical assistance for staff, including hardware (Mac/PC) and peripheral setup (printers, monitors, AV systems).
  • Network & Connectivity Management: Troubleshooting local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, and VPNs to ensure staff can work securely from regional offices or home.
  • System Maintenance: Performing software updates, patches, and routine diagnostics to maintain daily platform performance.
  • User & Security Management: Creating and deactivating user accounts, managing licenses, and configuring roles, profiles, and permission sets across platforms.
  • System Configuration: Building and adjusting custom fields, page layouts, and basic automation using Salesforce Flow
  • Data Integrity: Managing data imports/exports, performing regular deduplication using tools like Data Loader, and conducting data quality audits.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Creating and updating custom reports and dashboards
  • Technical Support: Acting as the first line of support for internal users, troubleshooting system glitches, and resolving "how-to" queries.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintaining up-to-date process guides and leading training sessions to drive user adoption of new platform features.
  • Perform other job-related duties as needed
