This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a real-world technical environment. What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience supporting and securing hybrid IT environments (Windows/macOS/Linux) Experience using ticketing systems, managing IT assets, and writing clear documentation Understanding of basic incident response workflows and security operations in practice Familiarity with key compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 Collaboration experience across Compliance, Engineering, and DevOps teams Experience with IT and security operations within a cloud-based SaaS company

Requirements

  • Must be available on-site in our office 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Linux and basic networking concepts (IP, MAC, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Exposure to or interest in security tools (e.g., antivirus, SIEM, firewalls)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
  • Professional, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Assist with desktop support, software installations, and user onboarding
  • Monitor and maintain network hardware, Wi-Fi, and other infrastructure
  • Support basic cybersecurity initiatives (e.g., endpoint installation, monitoring, log review)
  • Perform vendor risk assessments and assist in risk management
  • Help document procedures and troubleshoot hardware/software issues
  • Collaborate with IT and InfoSec teams on internal projects
