About The Position

The IT and Cybersecurity Director is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s technology and security strategy across multiple sites. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of IT systems within a Microsoft environment, including Azure, while supervising Service Desk, infrastructure, and network administration teams. The director will lead initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity posture, optimize IT operations, and align technology with business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in cybersecurity.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience
Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Strategic thinking and decision-making.
Leadership and team development.
Risk management and compliance expertise.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Nice To Haves

Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or Azure Solutions Architect preferred.

Responsibilities

Define and implement IT and cybersecurity strategies aligned with corporate goals.
Develop technology roadmaps for infrastructure modernization and cloud adoption.
Manage multi-site IT operations ensuring high availability and performance.
Oversee Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, Active Directory, M365, Intune, and security tools.
Implement security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
Lead vulnerability management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
Supervise Service Desk, infrastructure engineers, and network administrators.
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
Drive cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure strategies.
