This role is in office Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm. As a member of The Valon IT Team, you will support every department, team, and employee at Valon. You will play a key role in ensuring the continued success of our servicing operations team. You will partner with a variety of high-level stakeholders to maintain our daily fast-paced office operations. You will be responsible for responding to technical support queries in a timely and accurate manner, including requests for hardware repair, equipment relocation, and system access. You will continually test, adopt, and implement new technologies to advance Valon's efforts to transform the servicing industry. You get to "own" the executive office in NYC.

  • Install and configure Windows and Mac laptops, software, cloud services, systems, networks, MFA devices, printers, and scanners.
  • Manage the on- and off-boarding of users, as well as the provisioning and de-provisioning of devices.
  • Effectively respond to requests and track work in Jira Service Management.
  • Manage and restock inventory as needed.
  • Roll out and support software updates and other laptop security services and policies.
  • Support and service SSO (Single Sign On) with third-party software for increased security and convenience.
  • Create effective user-facing communications and guidance.
  • Operate independently with a high degree of professionalism while also being a member of a close-knit team.
  • 2+ years of experience in desktop and mobile administration, Google Workplace administration, service management, identity and access management, network administration, and business system administration.
  • Experience with the flexibility necessary in a tech startup environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Refined attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Tech full stack experience.
  • Security remediation and audit experience.
  • Good with macOS.
  • Google Workspace.
  • Networking familiarity.
  • Google Meets and other conferencing.
  • Wants to learn & grow, but can work independently.
