About The Position

The IT Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day IM administration and support of the Buffalo Grove site as part of the IM organization. This role involves providing first-line IT support, actively monitoring and responding to tickets with urgency and prioritization, and delivering hands-on and remote support to end users across office and production environments. The analyst will support multi-site operations including Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills, and Ravenswood, troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues, and manage incidents and service requests through resolution. Collaboration with internal IT teams and vendors is essential to drive issues to resolution. The position also includes assisting with local IT projects such as deployments, upgrades, and site initiatives, creating and maintaining IT documentation and knowledge base articles, and training and supporting end users through 1:1 sessions and group training. The IT Analyst will take ownership of projects through their entire life cycle.

Requirements

Active Directory /Windows / Microsoft 365 support
Dell laptop/desktop hardware troubleshooting and deployment
Network and printer support
Software installation and deployment tools
Basic networking knowledge (LAN vs WLAN, client vs server)
Video conferencing systems support
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on problem solver who takes ownership through resolution
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment where production is critical
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently and across teams
3+ years IT support / help desk experience
Experience supporting multi-site environment
ACUC User Account Management, unlocking accounts, resetting passwords
Support Microsoft OS, Office software
PC diagnostics and desktop deployments (DELL Laptop/Desktop Hardware Support Experience)
Printer and peripheral devices installation and maintenance (XEROX, HP, Network Printers)
Software installation via media or deployment software
Identify wLAN vs LAN and Client vs Server related issues effectively
Video Conference equipment support
Demonstrable customer service expertise (Prioritize, Time Management, and Escalation of tickets)
Structured, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Effective verbal, presentation, written and listening communication skills
Reliable transportation (required for site travel)
Manufacturing experience or MSP level support

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a virtual environment
Microsoft back and front office suite certification
College degree preferred
