  • Build integration software and new interfaces using IBM App Connect Enterprise and Cloverleaf interface engine.
  • Develop custom applications using Java or similar object-oriented programming language.
  • Provide IT support for vended and custom applications, resolving highly complex issues.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis by researching hardware environment and software application and system problems.
  • Regularly review applications and make modifications and/or updates to ensure currency and functionality.
  • Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom system software.
  • Produce and maintain documentation such as systems requirements, designs, resource inventories and plans.
  • Interface routinely with colleagues for virtual collaboration and partnership.
  • May be required to provide 24/7 on-call support.
  • Bachelor's degree and training/experience in technical development; OR, Associate's degree and 5 years' professional experience in technical development.
  • Knowledge of system design principles, software development methodologies, and computer programming.
  • Ability to take responsibility and accountability for own activities.
  • Possesses ability to multi-task and prioritize issues appropriately.
  • Evidence of strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in healthcare technology.
  • Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications.
  • Java or similar programming language.
  • Authorization to work and remain in the United States, without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorships.
