About The Position

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a professional, detail‑oriented, and innovative individual for the IT Analyst Intern position. The selected candidate will work part‑time during the academic year and full‑time during the summer in Pullman, WA. This role offers hands-on experience with modern infrastructure technologies and the opportunity to support, maintain, and automate the systems that power SEL. We encourage you to apply! Requirements

  • Are currently enrolled at accredited institution in Computer Science, MIS or other related degree.
  • Have knowledge of IT methods, practices, procedures, and policies.
  • Have excellent customer service commitment.
  • Can prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time.
  • Have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
  • Can learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  • Can work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Have background check results satisfactory to SEL.
  • Have negative drug test result(s).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using scripting languages.
  • Experience with directory services, virtualization, managed networks, security tools or other IT business systems.
  • Ability to meet Motor Vehicle Report Qualification Standards of SEL.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with install and maintain systems, resolve issues and provide support.
  • Assist IT staff as needed.
  • Responsible for managing special projects as assigned.
  • Create and maintain documentation as required.
