About The Position

This team is responsible for supporting, administering, and implementing desktop, server, and network infrastructure as they relate to hardware, software, Operating Systems, and virtualization for the global domain function IT, through daily operational assistance, in order to support and fulfill requirements of internal and external customers worldwide.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree, technical certification(s), or equivalent IT experience (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT field preferred, encompassing a majority of the following areas - Dell & HP Server Hardware, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, VMWare vSphere, shared storage systems, Cisco networking.
  • Experience providing customer support and resolution regarding technical issues.
  • Proven analytical abilities in addition to strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Proven ability to diagnose performance issues and tune system performance.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts, information, and service-related topics with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management.

Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of Dell & HP servers and Juniper networking hardware, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting (VLANs, trunking, ACLs, port-channeling, QoS).
  • Skilled in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting various operating systems including Windows Server 2019/2022, VMware ESXi 8.0, and Linux distributions (SLES, RHES, Ubuntu).
  • Experienced in supporting Dell and Lenovo desktop/laptop environments with a focus on customer service and end-user satisfaction.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Windows Server, and Windows PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration.
  • Provide first and second-level IT support for office and production environments, ensuring alignment with global IT standards and collaborating across global teams.
  • Assist in hardware/software procurement, deployment, patch management, and documentation to support Delivery & Support operations in North America and globally.
  • Mentor team members and support daily IT operations, fostering collaboration within the global IT function.
  • Committed to continuous learning and development through training, professional networks, and adherence to industry best practices-including cable management and documentation.
