About The Position

Sizzling Platter is growing. We’re seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support our Murray, UT-based IT Help Desk. This entry-level position provides administrative and clerical support to the IT department while serving as a key point of coordination for internal technical support requests across our 17,000+ U.S. employees. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused, and eager to learn and grow within the IT field. No prior IT experience is required, but basic technical knowledge and strong communication skills are important.

Requirements

  • Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Active Directory administration preferred.
  • A+ or MCP certification a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the IT Help Desk, serving as the first point of contact via phone, email, and in-person requests.
  • Create, assign, and dispatch trouble tickets to IT technicians, prioritizing urgent issues and managing technician schedules for optimal coverage.
  • Facilitate user account setup and onboarding/offboarding processes in Active Directory, Office 365, and other systems.
  • Assist the IT General Controls and Compliance Manager with audits and documentation supporting PCI compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with the Inventory Manager to track hardware assets from procurement through decommissioning.
  • Maintain filing systems, organize schedules, and develop administrative process improvements.
  • Conduct basic statistical analysis to monitor department performance and identify trends.
  • Partner with leadership to identify recurring ticket trends and help document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support IT-related projects from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate with the IT Inventory Specialist to ship, receive, and track equipment.
  • Complete additional assignments as directed.
