The In-School Suspension Instructor’s responsibility is to provide structure and manage the activities at the In-School Suspension Program; to create and maintain a safe and orderly environment conducive to learning. Area of Responsibility : Duties include but not limited to the following: Fulfill responsibility for duties delineated in Teacher’s Job Description Orient students assigned to in-school suspension as to behavior required and penalties for infractions of rules Communicate with principal on a regular basis for direction Maintain program free of disruptive behavior Maintain accurate records Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with school policies established by administration Monitor students’ work Monitor Saturday Detention Complete other work assigned by administrator
