The IS ServiceNow Systems Analyst at CareOregon is responsible for providing system analysis for the organization's IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, specifically ServiceNow. This role focuses on backlog request management, user story creation, process testing, and vendor management to ensure the platform aligns with organizational objectives and enhances service delivery.

  • Participate in objective decision making to maintain data integrity and usability of ServiceNow across multiple departments.
  • Maintain knowledge of the impact of configuration changes on services and business workflows.
  • Assist in ITSM system governance, evaluating and monitoring ServiceNow for alignment and sustainability.
  • Participate in frontend and backend process testing and implementation of new modules and capabilities.
  • Perform routine quality assurance testing to validate configuration behavior against established baselines.
  • Develop and maintain configuration documentation related to processes.
  • Collaborate with the Service Quality Manager and IS Service Delivery Director to build the ServiceNow project portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow Architect for accurate testing of development and automation.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for ServiceNow users experiencing functionality issues.
  • Assist departments with ServiceNow functionality questions for current and emerging work.
  • Support stakeholders in submitting comprehensive development and Change Control Board requests.
  • Assist with interpreting requirements for technical solutions and verifying deployed solutions meet business needs.
  • Support internal and external auditors by providing system configuration information as needed.
  • Participate constructively in department meetings and decisions.
  • Engage in interdepartmental workgroups such as the Change Control Board and cost utilization committees.
  • Participate in software user groups and attend conferences for education and networking.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, particularly ServiceNow.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess system functionality and user needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and departments.
  • Experience in quality assurance testing and documentation.
  • Knowledge of vendor management and relationship building.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in a healthcare or non-profit environment.
  • Knowledge of system governance and compliance standards.
  • Estimated hiring range of $71,340 - $87,200 per year.
  • 5% bonus target.
