About The Position

The IS Data Manager is responsible for managing data and providing advanced analytical support to ensure timely and accurate reporting related to core business functions. This includes data streams from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related field of study.
  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in SQL and a scripting language (Python or R preferred).
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid AZ DPS Level I fingerprint clearance card (must maintain valid card throughout employment)
  • Current, valid Driver's License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance to meet insurance requirements
  • Initial current negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).

Nice To Haves

  • Behavioral healthcare information systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond efficiently to requests for data availability and report creation.
  • Ensure that data is accurate across reporting systems.
  • Take ownership of data maintenance and migration.
  • Work collaboratively with the IS team and across the organization to support and further Intermountain's vision, mission, and goals.
  • Provide training as needed to support staff.
  • Independently develop and maintain reports to meet organizational needs.
  • Extract, prepare, and analyze data for clinical, medical, and financial reporting.
  • Work collaboratively to develop new reporting pipelines and key performance indicators to match operational needs.
  • Effectively communicate data trends and analyses to diverse audiences.
  • Perform data reconciliations and audits to ensure internal and external accuracy.
  • Manage the organization's reports database, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with private/security standards (HIPAA, state regulations), as well as readiness for sharing with third-party repositories.
  • Collaborate with executives, program leaders, and quality teams to identify emerging technology and reporting needs.
