This position is for a Software Test Engineer to support production testing, software debugging, and code updates for Lockheed Martin's Infrared Search and Track (IRST) program. The IRST system detects and tracks objects that emit electromagnetic radiation (infrared signatures) passively, enabling aircrews to target threats before they are detected. The role is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification. The individual will develop embedded software in C++ and an embedded operating system in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git, and Confluence, applying appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools.
