Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Utah Commercial (Class A) Driver's License.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
Nice To Haves
- Irrigation certification
- Previous experience in irrigation maintenance or construction
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems, including controllers, pumps, valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads.
- Troubleshoot and resolve irrigation system problems efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and plant needs.
- Operate heavy equipment, including trenchers and backhoes, as needed.
- Assist with other public works tasks as assigned.
