About The Position

Assist with applying, removing, and repairing insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems such as heat exchangers, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks and vessels, to help control noise and maintain temperatures. Help with insulating buildings, tanks, vessels, boilers, steam and hot water pipes, cold or chilled water pipes, and or other mechanical systems. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Must have the ability to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman.

Requirements

Must have a one – two years’ experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have a general understanding of the craft work being performed.
NCCER Core Curriculum and /or a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
