Iron Worker ( Skill Level 2)
About The Position
Report any deficiencies in site conditions, scope, and material counts upon pick up and/or delivery. Manage time and resources to complete assignments accurately within budget and schedule to minimize rework and/or cost impacts to the Company. Enter time and project assignments in BusyBusy and/or designated schedule software. Erect structural and miscellaneous steel per contract documents and/or industry standards. Collaborate and communicate with the team and others to achieve the Company's safety and production goals. Follow and enforce company and customer safety protocols and procedures. Assist in worksite or shop clean-up, waste disposal, and recycling activities. Help with shop fabrication tasks as needed. Erect structural and miscellaneous steel per contract documents and/or industry standards.
Requirements
- Must have 6 years or more of experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), if applicable
- AWS-certified (or ability to certify) structural steel welding, primarily stick welding
- The ability to read a tape measure
- Forklift (or other aerial lifts) experience
- Relevant experience and/or if extensive training is required, prefer a candidate looking for a stable, longer-term work opportunity with TinMan and/or industry
