We are looking for an Iron Foundry Operator – Herman Pattern Hauler/Cleaner to join our Cast Iron division. We offer a diverse array of growth opportunities within our manufacturing divisions. This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation including but not limited to bending, lifting, and pushing weight.
  • Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and work performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all jobs on the Herman Line to provide relief and to train new associates.
  • Check chang and maintain day codes on all patterns
  • Check Sprue Formers go / no-go gauge before and after pattern changes
  • Deliver patterns to and from pattern storage area
  • Operate core setting robot.
  • Perform pattern changes.
  • Operate hoist and Crane as well as perform safety check sheet. And OPM list.
  • Deliver core and change core in the robot core setting area
  • Operate PIV as well as perform check list
  • Communicating with operator and supervisor on pattern changes
  • Inspect patterns and carriers when installing and removing patterns from the Machine tag patterns appropriately.
  • Slag Auto pour furnace as required daily
  • Attend tier one meeting
  • Clean all areas as required
  • Wear required P.P.E.
  • Follow LO/TO and confined space (Training required)
