POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT Moss’s IRA–PWA Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and coordination support to the IRA Program Coordinators and the Director of Compliance. This role supports Moss’s efforts to comply with the labor, wage, apprenticeship, and domestic content provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and associated Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship (PWA) requirements. This is a fast-paced environment requiring organization, initiative, and effective communication. The position involves working with project teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to support day-to-day compliance operations, including tracking documentation, collecting reports, and helping ensure teams and partners are following federal requirements.

Requirements

  • Interest in compliance, regulatory programs, or construction industry processes (IRA-PWA knowledge a plus)
  • Detail-oriented: ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and act independently
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable working in spreadsheets and shared tracking tools
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work within a collaborative environment across departments
  • Ability to take initiative without waiting for direction
  • Willingness and desire to learn and adapt as program requirements evolve

Responsibilities

  • Support IRA-PWA Program Coordinators with the collection, organization, and monitoring of documentation related to IRA–PWA compliance (e.g., certified payrolls, apprenticeship documentation, labor hour tracking)
  • Maintain accurate records and databases to track IRA–PWA compliance efforts
  • Assist in preparing internal updates and summary reports for leadership and project stakeholders
  • Participate in periodic audits of IRA-PWA related documentation and support corrective actions as needed
  • Assist in developing and refining tracking tools, templates, and compliance processes
  • Perform administrative and coordination tasks as needed to support the compliance program
  • Perform other duties as assigned
