Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates Up to $6,000 Sign-On Bonus Up to 40 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus Clinical Ladder up to $4,000 Job Summary Under the guidance and direction of a Physical Therapist a Physical Therapy Assistant assists the Therapist with therapeutic exercises, training or treatment plans to return the patient to a normal pattern of movement and functioning as possible. Works with patients from pediatric to geriatric ages who are referred for medical and educational services. The primary functions are to perform patient related activities, including delegated procedures that are commensurate with educational skill and training. Responsible for communication of care to physical therapy staff or others to evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, or coordinating treatment.
