About The Position

About the Role We’re looking for an iOS engineer who can translate groundbreaking AI into intuitive, delightful mobile experiences. You’ll own the Wayve iOS app surface — from watching and remixing Wayves to creating new media formats from scratch. This is an incredibly important product role where design, speed, and feel all matter. You’ll collaborate closely with ML and infra to bring cutting-edge generative media into smooth, production-ready user flows for creators, consumers, and brands.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and shipping iOS apps at scale (App Store launches preferred).
• Strong fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit , and iOS frameworks.
• Experience working with video, audio, or media-rich interfaces .
• A high attention to detail when it comes to design, animation, and polish .
• Familiarity with real-time APIs, concurrency, and performance optimization on iOS.

Nice To Haves

• Bonus: experience with video streaming, editing libraries, or Core ML integration .
• Bonus: interest in generative AI, creative tools, or consumer UX .

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high-performance iOS app with seamless video and audio playback, editing, and remixing.
• Create intuitive user flows for interacting with personalized, generative media — across consumption, editing, and publishing.
• Integrate real-time media generation APIs into native iOS experiences.
• Work with ML and backend teams to optimize for responsiveness, low latency, and smooth playback.
• Define the app’s architecture, UI components, and design system to support our full product suite.
• Ensure reliability and polish across the full iOS app lifecycle, from onboarding to sharing.
