Your Role in the Operating Room Every case is different. Every patient is counting on you. Here's how you show up for them: • Before the first incision, you meet with patients, review their history, and explain what neuromonitoring means for their safety. You are often their last reassuring voice before surgery begins.Patient Assessment: • You are the eyes on the nervous system throughout the procedure — continuously reading electrophysiological data, spotting early warning signs, and alerting the surgical team in real time when it matters most.Intraoperative Monitoring: • You work side-by-side with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff. Your communication and expertise directly influence surgical decisions and patient outcomes.Team Collaboration: • You interpret complex waveforms, correlate findings with surgical events, and document everything with precision.
