When a patient goes under anesthesia for a complex spinal or neurological procedure, they place extraordinary trust in the hands around them. Requirements
- CNIM certified or CNIM-eligible
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- Minimum 1 year of IONM experience
- Strong foundation in neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- AHA CPR certified | Valid Driver's License
- A communicator and a collaborator — equally comfortable working independently or as part of a surgical team
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree in neuroscience or a related field
- Experience with advanced neuromonitoring modalities
Responsibilities
- Meet with patients, review their history, and explain what neuromonitoring means for their safety.
- Continuously reading electrophysiological data, spotting early warning signs, and alerting the surgical team in real time when it matters most.
- Work side-by-side with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff.
- Interpret complex waveforms, correlate findings with surgical events, and document everything with precision.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
