About The Position

As an Investor Reporting and Mortgage Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day locking of mortgages, maintaining the integrity of the loan pricing system, distributing daily hedging reports, coordinating with investors to determine product eligibility and pricing, and executing investor reporting and compliance functions across Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae (FNMA), and FHLBI. You will be accountable for building and maintaining valuable relationships with outside vendors and managing secondary market operations and investor reporting for product lines including, but not limited to, FHLBI, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Loans. Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in Mortgage Pricing and Market Sales within the finance industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related discipline. (Will consider additional years of experience in lieu of education requirement).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Pricing and Product Eligibility engine (PPE) and Loan Origination System (LOS) preferred.
  • The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust.
  • Professional level of verbal and written communication skills are essential to the position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Manage preparation, analysis and submission of financial and performance information to Secondary Market Investors. This includes generating and submitting reports, collaborating with internal teams and maintaining detailed records.
  • Manage the sale of best effort/mandatory loan sales as defined by the secondary sales policy. Including but not limited to electronic delivery and updating commitment number, investor loan information, delivery date, pricing etc.
  • Collaborate the day-to-day relationship with pricing engine, hedging analytics partner, Finance and Accounting team.
  • Works with Investors to reconcile loan and reporting issues, buy-backs, settlements, etc.
  • Monitor Investor Guide for compliance updates via bulletins, lender letters and advisories to ensure Interra is compliant to their standards.
  • Assist in the writing and revision of secondary market sales policy and procedures, rate lock policy and procedures, and hedging policy and procedures.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all Interra policies.
