About The Position

The Investment Specialist conducts comprehensive financial and wealth planning analyses for high net worth Latin American (LATAM) clients, ensuring alignment with their long-term investment goals and family wealth structures. The role involves utilizing advanced financial modeling and market analysis to tailor solutions, providing sophisticated advisory services on portfolio construction and investment strategies, and managing investment portfolios for Ultra High Net Worth Mexican clients. This position requires cultivating strong client relationships and collaborating with various financial teams to deliver integrated solutions, with up to 25% international travel to Mexico.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Specialist, Investment Banking Analyst, Strategy and Equity Research Analyst, Foreign Exchange (FX)/Derivatives Trader, or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Specialist, Investment Banking Analyst, Strategy and Equity Research Analyst, Foreign Exchange (FX)/Derivatives Trader, or related occupation.
  • Experience creating presentations for clients using Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF Pro.
  • Experience running portfolio analysis and financial modeling using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience accessing economic news, financial market data/analytics, and price quotes using Thomson Reuters Eikon and Bloomberg Terminal.
  • Experience comparing potential allocation strategies and generating multi-period projections based on complex market conditions using Monte Carlo Simulation analysis.
  • Experience with the following asset class products: Global Equities; Taxable and Emerging Markets Fixed Income; Mutual Funds and Liquid Alternatives; and Structured Products (including Phoenix Notes, Buffered Return Enhanced Notes, Callable Enhanced Market Plus, Annual Review Notes, Credit Linked Notes, Reverse Convertibles, and Dual Directional Buffered Equity Notes).
  • Oral, auditory, and written fluency in the Spanish language.
  • Required license(s): SIE; and Series 63.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial and wealth planning analyses to identify and address high net worth Latin American (LATAM) clients' unique objectives, ensuring alignment with their long-term investment goals and family wealth structures, while using the Spanish language to validate the clients' current investment objectives and to prepare recommendations for appropriate investment products.
  • Utilize advanced financial modeling and market analysis to tailor solutions that meet LATAM clients' evolving needs, and provide sophisticated advisory services on portfolio construction and investment strategies, communicating these strategies to clients in Spanish.
  • Spearhead the management and strategic development of investment portfolios for Ultra High Net Worth Mexican clients, leveraging deep technical expertise in asset allocation across private equity, equities, fixed income, and derivatives to optimize returns in alignment with clients' risk profiles.
  • Use the Spanish language to cultivate strong client relationships, effectively articulating complex investment concepts in Spanish and fostering trust to guide clients in achieving their financial aspirations.
  • Develop and implement innovative investment strategies, drawing on expertise in global equity vehicles such as ETFs, stocks, and mutual funds, to enhance portfolio diversification and performance.
  • Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Lending Advisors, and Client Service teams to deliver integrated financial solutions, ensuring a cohesive approach to client service and strategy execution.
  • Travel up to 25% internationally to Mexico to visit various client sites.
