The intern will support the Investment Products team, covering Unit Trust, Structured Products, and Equities, with a primary focus on business and data analytics. This role involves analyzing product performance, client segmentation, and market trends to drive data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will assist in developing dashboards, conducting competitor benchmarking, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance advisory solutions, platform capabilities, and digital engagement.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a recognized university degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Bloomberg, Qlik) is a plus.
  • Interest in financial markets, mutual funds, structured products, and equities.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data related to structured products, equities and unit trusts’ performance, client segmentation, and sales trends.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track product P&L, volumes, and key performance indicators for management reviews.
  • Perform competitor benchmarking and pricing analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Support product specialists in reviewing offerings across unit trust products, structured products, and equities.
  • Prepare product strategy presentations and market insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to digital initiatives aimed at improving client engagement and experience.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and data validation for product-related and platform projects.
  • Help document product workflows, compliance checks, and governance standards.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with wealth specialists and advisory teams to prepare product communication materials.
  • Support internal and external stakeholder engagement through research and reporting.
