About The Position

Role: Investment Performance Business Analyst – Private Markets
Location: Princeton, NJ / Boston, MA (Hybrid – 2–3 Days Onsite, Local/Nearby Only)
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Experience: 10+ Years

Note: The candidate must have mandatory experience in Private Credit. Experience with Geneva will be considered a strong advantage. Additionally, exposure to data-related projects is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Private Credit (Mandatory)
• 10–15 years as Business Analyst / Functional Consultant in Financial Services
• Deep knowledge of Private Markets deal lifecycle (fund raising, commitments, distributions)
• Strong understanding of Fund Accounting – Alternative Investments
• Experience in Portfolio Performance Measurement & Attribution
• Exposure to tools like Geneva (Preferred), Investran, Allvue
• Experience with benchmarking, risk analysis & performance reconciliation
• Knowledge of GIPS standards & US regulatory reporting
• Strong BA experience (BRD, FRD, Use Cases, Process Flows)
• Experience managing end-to-end implementations (Agile/Waterfall)

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Alts data providers (Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, SS&C Alpha, etc.)
• Data projects exposure (ML/statistical modeling basics preferred)
