About The Position

The Global Hedge Management (GHM) Operations team is seeking an Investment Operations Associate to join the team. GHM Operations provides trade support and back-office operations for Prudential Global Funding LLC, the Global Hedge Management team, as well as several affiliates. Primary support functions include ensuring the accurate maintenance of trade records for all OTC derivatives within the firm (for Prudential businesses only - excludes 3rd party managed and retail funds, non-guaranteed separate accounts), as well as certain exchange traded instruments from inception through maturity, confirmation and processing of payments related to derivatives activity, maintaining market data for purposes of trade valuations, management of collateral related to derivatives positions, and preparation of daily risk reports for management. The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence 3 days per week. You manager will provide additional details relative to days you are expected to be on-site

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily counterparty exposure to support Credit Support Annex (CSA) agreements and initial margin requirements for cleared and bilateral OTC derivatives
  • Analyze and report exposure levels on an ongoing basis
  • Respond to and issue daily collateral calls
  • Process collateral substitutions as required
  • Research and resolve disputed collateral items
  • Perform portfolio reconciliations when disputes arise
  • Manage principal and interest processing for collateral posted and held
  • Apply strong analytical skills to research and independently resolve outstanding items
  • Work effectively in a collaborative team environment while managing responsibilities independently
  • Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Participate in assigned projects beyond day‑to‑day responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of value‑added initiatives
  • Support process improvements that streamline workflows and create operational efficiencies
