About The Position

The Performance and Reporting team is one of four that make up the Investment Data Operations (IDO) department. IDO ensures that the online data our advisors use to manage their clients’ investments is accurate, timely, and reliable. The team is responsible for all advisor- and client-facing performance data, as well as the production and distribution of quarterly performance reports. As part of our ongoing evolution, the team is increasingly leveraging AI, automation, and data-driven tools to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. This role will contribute to both core operational processes and the adoption of these capabilities.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of SQL queries; experience with portfolio accounting applications is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, and/or ServiceNow
  • Ability to evaluate outputs from automated or AI-assisted processes for accuracy and reasonableness
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, accurate work
  • Results-oriented, accountable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Innovative mindset with a willingness to learn and apply new tools and technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2–4+ years of financial services experience
  • Knowledge of investment-related reports and performance calculations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial data

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI tools or data copilots (e.g., natural language querying, generative AI, workflow automation) is a plus
  • Experience with FactSet or similar platforms preferred
  • Exposure to AI/automation tools or concepts (e.g., data analysis tools, anomaly detection, workflow automation) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administers the quarterly statement process end-to-end, including pre-quarter preparation, production, and post-quarter support
  • Answers questions related to quarterly statements and investment reports (asset allocation, holdings, performance, fixed income, etc.), clearly explaining data and calculations
  • Uses AI-assisted tools and data analysis techniques to support research, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues more efficiently
  • Works with project managers and analysts to document specifications for report and statement development, including opportunities for automation and process optimization
  • Explains investment-related calculations and reporting logic to project managers and development teams
  • Partners with Development to resolve bugs, implement enhancements, and improve reporting workflows, including AI-enabled or automated solutions where appropriate
  • Tests bug fixes and enhancements to ensure accuracy and quality, including validation of system-generated and AI-assisted outputs
  • Collaborates with technical writers to develop documentation and training materials, incorporating evolving tools and best practices
  • Works with third-party vendors to ensure quarterly statements are processed and distributed successfully
  • Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency, including reducing manual effort through automation and intelligent tooling
  • Participates in trainings to enhance company, industry, and technology knowledge, including exposure to AI capabilities
