About The Position

The Digital Infrastructure & Communication Services team advises clients across the full spectrum of connectivity and communications assets, including: Fiber broadband Data centers Towers & small cells Wireless & wireline networks Cloud and managed service providers Communications infrastructure investors and platforms The group works closely with both corporate clients and financial sponsors, delivering M&A, leveraged finance, and equity capital markets solutions. Jefferies maintains a leading presence in digital infrastructure, consistently ranking as a top advisor in the sector. The team is seeking a Vice President in New York to support senior bankers in client coverage, strategic dialogue, and live transaction execution. The VP will play a central role across M&A advisory, capital markets transactions, and sector‑specific analyses while helping expand Jefferies’ platform in this rapidly growing vertical.

Requirements

  • MBA + relevant investment banking experience, or
  • Undergraduate degree with 6 + years of investment banking experience
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Experience managing full transaction processes from pitch through close
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce client‑ready deliverables
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing junior team members
  • Ability to manage multiple live deals and deadlines concurrently
  • Must live in NYC or be willing to relocate

Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to-day execution of M&A, leveraged finance, and equity transactions across digital infrastructure and communication services.
  • Develop, oversee, and review complex financial models, including:
  • Data center valuation frameworks
  • Fiber and broadband operating models
  • Tower and wireless asset‑based analyses
  • DCF, precedent transactions, public comps, LBOs, and sponsor return models
  • Manage full workstreams across due diligence, process management, document drafting, and deal negotiations.
  • Prepare strategic materials for clients, including pitchbooks, valuation analyses, industry insights, and process recommendations.
  • Participate in and help lead client meetings, contributing to relationship development with corporate executives and financial sponsors.
  • Draft and refine marketing documents such as CIMs, management presentations, board materials, and offering memoranda.
  • Support the team in developing sector thought leadership, market updates, and proprietary insights.
  • Manage, mentor, and train analysts and associates within the group.
  • Drive internal coordination across product partners (ECM, Leveraged Finance, Financial Sponsors, Infrastructure Finance).
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and professional development initiatives within the group.
