About The Position

We are a fast-growing, software-focused middle market investment bank advising companies on M&A strategies and capital raises. Our team is highly collaborative, execution-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for founders, investors, and management teams. As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting transaction execution and business development efforts. You will work closely with bankers on live M&A and capital-raising engagements while also assisting with pitch preparation and market research to support new client origination. This role is designed for high-performing early-career professionals who want hands-on exposure across both deal execution and firm growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Internship or full time experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, consulting, accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in finance, accounting, and valuation concepts
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to learn quickly, take direction, and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and desire to grow within investment banking

Responsibilities

  • Support Transaction Execution: Assist Associates and Vice Presidents with the execution of M&A and capital-raising transactions, including financial analysis, valuation work, diligence support, and preparation of transaction materials.
  • Develop Technical Skills: Build and maintain financial models and analyses. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all work product.
  • Conduct Research and Diligence: Perform company, industry, and market research to support live transactions and strategic positioning. Help organize diligence materials, manage virtual data rooms, analyze client information, and summarize findings for senior team members.
  • Support Business Development: Assist with business development initiatives by conducting industry and company research, preparing pitch materials, and supporting the development of client presentations and marketing collateral.
  • Prepare Deal and Pitch Materials: Create and refine pitch decks, confidential information memorandums, management presentations, and other client deliverables that are clear, well-structured, and presentation-ready.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment alongside senior bankers and fellow Analysts to meet deadlines and support both execution and origination efforts.
  • Gain Client Exposure: Participate in client calls, internal deal discussions, and pitch meetings to build understanding of transaction processes and client dynamics.
