About The Position

Saturna Capital is looking for an Investment Associate to support our Investment Advisory Services department. This person will provide excellent customer service to our clients and prospects. The successful candidate will be professional, responsible, reliable and demonstrate excellent communications skills as well as a high level of analytical aptitude. The individual in this role should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to take-on diverse responsibilities across all activities performed within the Client Services team and broader organization. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field
Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Islamic financial principles
Confident, professional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage confidently with high-net-worth individuals
SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment)
Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements such as a logic test, fingerprints, criminal background and credit check and reference check

Responsibilities

Perform moderately complex administrative and operational tasks within Brokerage Client Support functional area
Handle telephone calls or respond to inquiries and requests for researching of reports and account related issues
Establish and maintain files to meet the firms’ regulatory requirements
Responsible for meeting IAS department goals as set by IAS manager, specifically around financial plans and new AUM
Create, produce, and maintain reports, databases, and record keeping for the purpose of growing clients/prospects relationships
Educate clients/prospects on account services and capabilities
Research and resolve complex operational or administrative issues as they arise
Facilitate accurate and timely account set up, money movement, and investment trades
Other duties as assigned
