This entry-level role supports OneDigital's centralized investment function across wealth and institutional business lines. Analysts may initially align with functional areas that include due diligence, analytics, trading support, and advisor/client support, executing standardized analyses, maintaining high-quality data and documentation, and contributing to the consistent delivery of investment solutions. The position develops core capabilities in research, multi-asset portfolio analytics, operational workflows, and client-ready communications while collaborating with senior team members and cross-functional partners. Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and organize manager/product information, factsheets, and data files across mutual funds, ETFs, Collective Investment Trusts (CITs), separately managed accounts (SMAs), alternative investments and other investment strategies.
  • Assist with fund and ETF screening, manager questionnaires (e.g., DDQ/RFI), meeting logistics, and record-keeping.
  • Draft or update internal due diligence summaries and maintain watchlist commentary under senior guidance.
  • Take detailed notes during manager calls, webinars, and internal review meetings, converting them into usable research summaries.
  • Work with OneDigital's proprietary AI systems to help improve processes and due diligence coverage.
  • Maintain and update approved lists, model portfolios, and reference data (e.g., CUSIPs, ticker symbols, share classes, ETF structures, platform availability) across internal systems.
  • Support onboarding and changes for strategies, model portfolios, and ETF offerings; ensure proper documentation and version control.
  • Execute recurring data hygiene tasks and reconcile platform artifacts — including model allocations and ETF holdings — to internal investment policy standards.
  • Prepare trade files and allocation worksheets for model portfolios and ETF-based strategies; reconcile orders, allocations, and confirmations.
  • Monitor post-trade exceptions and collaborate with operations and custodians to resolve breaks.
  • Maintain audit trails and implementation checklists consistent with established procedures.
  • Run standardized performance, attribution, and risk reports across mutual funds, ETFs, and model portfolios; verify benchmarks and peer group categories (e.g., Morningstar, FI360, FactSet, Python).
  • Maintain dashboards and monthly/quarterly reporting packages with strong quality control discipline.
  • Escalate anomalies and document methodological changes as needed.
  • Respond to routine information requests from advisors and field teams with pre-approved content and data extracts.
  • Provide product/portfolio facts on mutual funds, ETFs, and model portfolios; compare investments against peers and highlight alternatives where applicable.
  • Assist with portfolio reviews for advisors, including allocation analysis, performance reviews, manager comparisons, and identification of portfolio gaps or overlap.
  • Coordinate case tracking with internal service teams.
  • Build slides, exhibits, and tables for investment committees, client meetings, plan sponsor reviews, and RFPs/RFIs — including model portfolio and ETF strategy summaries.
  • Translate investment team views and portfolio changes into clear, concise materials tailored to advisor and client audiences.
  • Contribute data and drafts to market and economic commentary under editorial review.
  • Ensure OneDigital branding, compliance, and version control are maintained across all deliverables.
  • Follow applicable policies and procedures (e.g., best execution, valuation, ERISA/SEC) and documentation standards.
  • Support surveillance and audit activities with organized records and evidence.
  • Complete required training and attestations on schedule.
  • Partner with portfolio management, field investment professionals, operations, compliance, technology, sales, and third-party recordkeepers and asset managers.
  • Participate in process mapping and contribute suggestions that improve quality and cycle time.
  • Document SOPs and help onboard peers with checklists and quick-reference guides.
  • Build proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and investment tools (e.g., FI360, FactSet, Morningstar Direct, Python); learn scripting where applicable.
  • Develop familiarity with ETF structures, model portfolio construction, and multi-asset investment solutions.
  • Pursue applicable industry credentials (e.g., CFA, CAIA) and internal training pathways.
  • Demonstrate growth in investment acumen, data accuracy, and the ability to communicate performance context clearly.
