About The Position

Investment Accountant Role
Responsibilities:
• Prepare cash calls and distributions using the investment accounting module.
• Prepare cash call and distribution notices.
• Reconcile capital balances between the investment accounting module and the general ledger (GL).
• Record journal entries and prepare financial statements for investment entities.
• Process monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) rollups in the investment accounting module.
• Maintain entity-level waterfall models for promote calculations.
Skills and Experience:
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; able to explain complex financial data clearly.
• Experience with industry-standard Investment Accounting Systems (e.g., Investran, Geneva) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in real estate investment accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, investment accounting, finance, or administration.
• Knowledge of U.S. investment-related laws is a plus.
• Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles related to investment valuation and reporting is a plus but not mandatory.
