About The Position

The Office of Attorney General has an opening for an Investigator in the Public Protection Section in the Jefferson City office. Responsibilities include investigating a wide variety of criminal cases and identifying suspects for formal legal action, and providing trial support. Qualified applicants must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as well as criminal investigative experience. Applicants must be able to exercise independent judgment; work well under pressure; handle multiple projects while managing a large caseload; be able to conduct internet-based research; and be able to use Word, Access, and Excel. Travel is required.
